Porting Call of Duty 4 Weapon models to a workable format

I’ve dug around in the Call of Duty 4 images files and I found the weapons files. They are under the .iwi file type. Is there anyway I can convert this into a workable file type for Blender/Maya/3DSMax? I’m currently trying to make Call of Duty 4 SWEPs.

You must have the cod4 Modtools.

And to extract the models, there’s a really easy way that you can do with Tom’s tool.

For the modtools you can find them on the Internet.

.iwi files are just textures… download the cod4 sdk and learn maya
