Check if the name has any capitals, I don’t know why. But i’ve had that problem before.

What can you explain ?

Up

If you’re using Linux ( Windows has issues with certain names too; generally it is best to avoid any special characters, keep everything lowercase, etc… ), ensure all names are lowercase ( both in the model / skin, and all references to it )

Everything is lowercase, nothing is special character

How are you serving the model to the client? Fastdl?

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26074909/tutoring/server_srcds_steamcmd/fastdl_setup_instructions.lua.html

It is possible to have FastDL download data to a completely wrong directory; if you use it, make sure it is set up correctly. If you use Workshop it is just resource.AddWorkshop( <workshop_id> );, if you use ServerDL, resource.AddSingleFile // I find this to be more reliable than AddFile as it adds associative files, but may not always get all of them.

I use the workshop for all playermodel ^^, if you look my addons, go in workshop and type “shielx” and search, you have playermodel1, 2, 3
