Problem with Linux server

Hello.

I have installed a gmod server on my dedicated server, but i can’t join the server, he said always “Server has not updated to the most recent version.”
The server is running on Linux Debian.

Thx for your help.

There was no update to GMod since summer last year, so whereever you got your “update” from, roll it back.

Mh, okay, w8, that was the first time i have installed the server, so it’s not a update. (I edit the post)

Tell us exactly how did you install your server. ( Command line, etc )

Okay. I used:

mkdir cmd
cd cmd
wget http://media.steampowered.com/installer/steamcmd_linux.tar.gz
tar -xvzf steamcmd_linux.tar.gz
./steamcmd.sh
login anonymous
force_install_dir /home/gmod3/gmod
app_update 4020 validate
exit
./srcds_run -console -game garrysmod +map gm_flatgrass +maxplayers 16

And after that, i can’t join the server.

Is your client on the “Dev” beta branch?

No, Gmod is not in Dev beta branch.

Screens of putty when i’m starting the server.
http://puu.sh/g3zd3/e94a59d578.png
http://puu.sh/g3zcJ/0127458037.png
And my Gmod version is 14.07.13, the server is always telling me “Server has not updated in the most recent version”.
When i open the steam.inf of the server, the patch version is 14.07.10
And, when i’m trying to do ./srcds_linux in gmod folder that tell me:
Failed to open dedicated_srv.so (dedicated_srv.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)

Ok, i have tried to update GLIBC to 2.15 but i have a new error when i’m launching the server.

Here run this:

wget http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/e/eglibc/libc6_2.15-0ubuntu10.9_i386.deb
dpkg -x libc6_2.15-0ubuntu10.9_i386.deb tmp/
cd tmp/lib/i386-linux-gnu/
cp * /your-garrysmod-directory/bin/

I got it from here: http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Linux_Dedicated_Server_Hosting#/Troubleshooting

Not working, 404 not found when i use wget with this file

Sorry about that. This one should work I just used it yesterday when I reset up my server on debian.

You will need to change some of the directories around to be the one for your gmod server folder.
code:

cd /home/gmodserver

wget https://github.com/dgibbs64/linuxgameservers/raw/master/GarrysMod/dependencies/libstdc++.so.6

cd bin

wget https://github.com/dgibbs64/linuxgameservers/raw/master/GarrysMod/dependencies/libc.so.6

wget https://github.com/dgibbs64/linuxgameservers/raw/master/GarrysMod/dependencies/libm.so.6

wget https://github.com/dgibbs64/linuxgameservers/raw/master/GarrysMod/dependencies/libpthread.so.0

I think i have found the problem, when I search the ip of the server in “Servers” on steam, i find my CS:GO server. What can i do ?

If the server is starting now it might be going up a port if tje one its trying to use is already in use.
after the server syarts up type status in console and see what port its on.
