I’m fixing my gamemode currently and I cannot figure out the source of the problem. Props created do not collide well with the environment around them like players, other props, and the map. What happens is that the prop sinks half way into the world then slowly bounces up just to fall halfway back down. It did not use to have this problem and if you have ANY ideas into why this is happening, I would love to know them.
I’m probably way off, but I think this has to do with something going wrong in a hook like GM:ShouldCollide if you happen to be doing custom collisions on entities.
I know for sure that the issue you describe has been around for years (at least since GMod 10 days), and is typically pinned on something breaking in the physics engine.
