Question on weapon attachments

I recently obtained a flashlight attachment. However, I have been unable to apply it to my Thompson.

Was curious is certain attachments only work with specific weapons. If so, is there a list that goes over which attachments fit on which guns?

Google searching hasn’t offered much help. :frowning:

Idk why but they made the Thompson unable to use some of those attachments which I think is stupid but maybe it was an accident idk.
