Ragdoll spawns underground

So I’m making a headhack, but I ran into a brickwall when the ragdoll started spawning underground. I don’t know what I did wrong, but I’m suspecting it’s my collision model.

Also how exactly do you create flexes for the model?

You don’t seem to have any joint constrains, that will likely cause problems. Also i’ve had all sorts of problems with that power armour model so thats not going to help.

You make flexes by moving the vertexes on the model around how you want them to be at the end of the flex and export the altered model as a VTA file (theres probberly other ways of doing it where you can have all the flexes in one VTA but I have no idea how due to there being no tutorials for it anywhere, ok there is one for 3dmax but its not very explainitroy ¬.¬).

Also VTA exporting is only supported in: XSI Mod Tool, 3dmax and now Blender.

Nah, I tried it with joincontrain before, left it out of the .qc post though so it would save some reading :p.

Also, can I just use the existing .vta of the male01?

Put the joint constrains up thats very likely whats causing the error, do you have more than 24 moving joints (excluding fingers and jigglebone type stuff) as if you do thats your problem. Not a good idea to leave stuff out when you looking for an error ¬.¬

Yes you can use the existing VTA if you haven’t moved the head in any way (though it wont be able to move the left eyelid, due to decompiling issues).

I took it from the unheadhacked version, since it worked fine and I don’t know what numbers to fill in.

Made some alterations see if that works. I’m not entirely sure why you would be getting the issue you said though with that :S

Still the same issue, and really sucks about the .vta because I moved the head D:. Also, I compiled it with $collisionmodel instead of $collisionjoints there it worked. (was funny punting it with gravgun :D)

Well that definately suggests it the collision model thats the issue, but i’m not sure how to fix it (as I had the same problem with Bender when I tried to update his collision model and still haven’t been able to figure out whats up with it :S)

I’ll just remake the collision model, but in a different way. Insteadof cutting up the model, ill place bones where they collide.
