render.RedownloadAllLightmaps Static Prop Day/Night Cycle Support?

Just noticed a note in the latest garrysmod update.

“Added boolean parameter to render.RedownloadAllLightmaps to apply lighting changes to static props”

Do you think this means day/night cycle scripts will now properly work with static props without having to fuck shit lag a good map with dynamic props just to get a working day/night cycle?

I’ll be testing this out myself, but I just thought’d I’d throw the message out there.

Yes, however, it’s still not asynchronous so there will be lag.
