Rendering a client side model

I have been using cl_prop_physics for all my client side props I need to show and just been disabling the physics using:

[lua]
prop:PhysicsInit(SOLID_NONE)
prop:SetCollisionGroup(COLLISION_GROUP_NONE)
[/lua]

I can’t imagine this is the cheapest way of rendering though, right? Does anyone know a better way?

It’s pretty much like a physics prop except it’s not solid and doesn’t have physics. You can even use only one of those, and render it at different places with a different model in the same function, using SetRenderOrigin and SetRenderAngles. If you’re doing so, you will need to reset the model even if you’re rendering the same model, but several times, else it won’t work.

Thank you very much, will be using this.
