Rust Server wont restart with the restart command

Hello,

My problem is that everytime I want to restart my server, I need to either kill the Process or I need to use the ‘quit’ command and then start the Server again.
Everytime I use the ‘restart’ command, the Server counts down, stops and wont come back online until I start the server manually.

The Server is running on Linux (Debian 8 - 64 bit) if that helps.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Just found out that ‘restart’ and ‘quit’ just stop the server. Does anybody know how I could automatically start the server again?
I’ve tried using crontab to start the server again but it doesn’t work somehow…

SOLVED

Try this:

#!/bin/bash
while true
do
    if [ "`pidof RustDedicated`" ]
    then
        sleep %put the value at seconds for checking rust server state%
    else
        %put you path to startup rust server script%
    fi
done

for example:

#!/bin/bash
while true
do
    if [ "`pidof RustDedicated`" ]
    then
        sleep 60
    else
        /rustds/testserver/rds.sh
    fi
done

Well it wont work somehow.
Every time I run the script it says “File or Directory not found”
Dont know what the error is tho.

Guess SKO isnt coming back up

This means that you have incorrectly specified the path to the server startup script, or your server startup script has a relative path to RustDedicated. Use the absolute path in your server startup script.

Well I fixed the problem. The problem was that I was creating a screen and executed the command but I had to detach the screen.
