Sending client's data to the server?

Hey there people, I’ve been trying to create a ‘stealth’ script, it works and all, but I don’t know any ways how to send the client’s data to the server.

An example would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Spy.

you will need to use concommands

How exactly?

Example:

[release]
Server:
[lua]concommand.Add(“givemestuff”, function(ply, cmd, args)
ply.Thing = tonumber(args[1])
end)[/lua]

Client:
[lua]RunConsoleCommand(“givemestuff”, tostring(34))[/lua]
[/release]

My shitty script doesn’t like me. :frowning:

Unknown Command: 'report_visibility'

Client:
local function ccStealth( )
	if not ValidEntity( LocalPlayer( ) ) then
		return
	end
	RunConsoleCommand("report_visibility", render.GetLightColor(LocalPlayer():GetPos()):Length())
end

timer.Create("Check My Illumination", 0.5, 0, ccStealth)

Server:
concommand.Add("report_visibility", function(ply, cmd, args)
	ply.Illumination = tonumber(args[1])
end)

ply.Illumination gets set once the player spawns.

thats odd, and theres no errors?

No errors at all.

Not in my server’s console, not in my GMod.
