SendWeaponAnim problem

Hey there, I’m using self.Weapon:SendWeaponAnim in shared.lua, and the thing is, I can’t play the same animation twice without playing a different one again.

So for example if I play ACT_VM_PRIMARYATTACK, I need to play ACT_VM_SECONDARYATTACK for ACT_VM_PRIMARYATTACK to work again. I made a simple SWEP that plays animations and it works fine there, however in the normal SWEP I’m working on, it doesn’t seem to work properly.

Help would be appreciated.

Send it ACT_VM_IDLE then the desired sequence, that’s a mostly effective fix that I’ve used before.

Tried that, didn’t work.

Nevermind, used a timer with 0.001 sec delay for the actual animation after the IDLE and it works now.

Ugh, another ugly bug.

Now the weapon goes down and then goes back into it’s place if the animation is re-played.

God damn you new GMod update.
