Server Rate,Tickrate

So i got Dell optiplex 620 and i thought i can use it as a gmod server, so i installed CentOS and the GMod server from steamcmd. It works, with 2GB of DDR2 ram and some Pentium 4, the problem is rates. 66 tickrate is dangerous for this Pentium 4, so i stick up to 33. The GMod server is for ACF builds. It can hold 2-3 ACF tanks but still sometimes lags. This is my server.cfg

sv_minrate “13000”
sv_maxrate “25000”
sv_minupdaterate “22”
sv_maxupdaterate “34”
sv_mincmdrate “22”
sv_maxcmdrate “34”
sv_client_cmdrate_difference “1”
sv_client_predict “1”
sv_client_min_interp_ratio “-1”
sv_client_max_interp_ratio “-1”
net_splitpacket_maxrate “13000”
decalfrequency “8”

Sorry for bad english

Out there are machines with almost 4gb ram with the most powerfull xeon processors, fastest ssd drives and hosted by big companies…

That pc can’t just handle a server without lag

Processor and RAM aren’t going to cut it. Also, don’t make multiple threads for the same issue.

Maybe you’ll have more luck at 15 tick, else get a newer system.
