Shooting a prop on someone

So, I’m coding something for a server’s pointshop, for this example, I’m going to say it’s a shield. If someone shot the shield, it wouldn’t damage the player at all, but would affect the shield’s health. Simple question, but I don’t know how to do it.

So, pointshop… OnEquip of this shield, set ply.shield to 100, or true…

Then, use the Should Player Take Damage / Scale Player Damage hooks to determine whether or not damage should be done, and how much damage to apply to the shields instead.

I’d also recommend setting the item to Single-Use and preventing more than 1 from being purchased per “round” if the game-mode has rounds ( otherwise invincible players for those that rebind keys to purchase and equip )…
