Simulating high gravity

Hi everyone. I am trying to simulate high gravity in my map, so I’ve set up a trigger_push brush to make everything appear heavier, including the player, which works great except that you can still walk and run at normal speeds.
I’m trying to figure out either how I can force the player in to crouch or make the player move really slowly. I’ve tried using point_playermoveconstraint but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Any ideas? (: Thanks.

In left 4 dead 2 In the campaign the sacrifice there is a part where the player goes up a gravel hill , that gravel pit slows down the player. I’d check out what they did in that level and see if you can replicate it yourself for your map.

Cheers buddy. Hopefully someone can come up with a solution for me.

You could try using these console commands with a point_servercommand:

sv_gravity
sv_accelerate
sv_stopspeed
sv_friction
sv_airaccelerate
sv_wateraccelerate
sv_waterfriction
sv_bounce
sv_maxspeed

Don’t know if all of those are in every branch but they are for sure in CSGO.

try trigger_playermovement , that’s what they used in l4d2 to simulate slow movement (available for all source games)

Yeah, use that in conjunction with

and possibly
