skin manipulator tool?

so i’ve got both the model manipulator and the skin switcher tool, and i was wondering…when i try to use the model of a regular sized ragdoll on a ragdoll with a skeleton twice as big (for example i try to paste a regular gman model on a scientist which is decompiled and scaled to be twice as big, he looks all weird and stretchy, is it possible to have a stool which only copies the skin, so it basically replaces the texture and mesh, but nothing else?
