This is the SMG3 this weapon is from the Half-Life 2 leak but the model was remade and phonged for SWEP use. This weapon was the original SMG but they turned it into the SMG we all know and sort of love.

All you need to do is to extract this to the Addons folder and you are off.

Nice, when i first saw the title i expected an smg1 with some 5 sec lua editing.
Think ill try it out. =3

Awesome SWEP, I can see myself using it regularly.

I’ve tweaked the damage down to 15, though, otherwise it feels slightly overpowered.

Well in the beta Combine Elites and other Combine units used them and you can’t blame Anon for overpowering it.

Well it’s from the leak what do you expect.

If any of you want to make some HD texture then go ahead.

But you need to PM me so you can get my permission.

Well the weapon is from the leak so you will expect some low quality textures but if someone wants to make the textures more high quality they can if they want to but they need my permission.

Why would they need your permission? No one needs anyone’s permission to make a custom skin.

If they release it they do, since it’s his piece of lua.

Regardless of the Lua, even of someone made a custom model you don’t need their permission to make a custom skin for it. Using a custom skin is an option, if people don’t want to use the custom skin they don’t have to. That doesn’t mean I need his permission. It’s not like I’m editing the code and claiming it’s mine.

I know that i am being a little bit of a security guard but you see amny people did not care about Anders work and he made alot of work and so he he always needs peoples permission and asks them to make credit for him so people know alot of people stealed his work so i am being careful like him.

Nice. needs custom sounds, though.
