SNPC Mouth Animation

Sass rippoff blah blah blah.

The thing is, I’ve gotten my SNPC to speak whatever it’s told to, but it looks shitty without mouth movement. I’ve spent days looking for a way to do this, but can’t find anything remotely helpful.

Does anyone know how this can be done?

That sounds like what you want to do.

Maybe NPC.PlaySentence, but that isn’t documented so I don’t know what to feed it.

If you just need the lips to move you can just use ent:EmitSound(), else go for Kogitsune’s idea.

The source sdk has something for embedding mouth movement in wav files. Faceposer or something.
