(Some) Neotokyo and CS:S maps broken, or just me?

I’m not sure if this is the right section to ask this, but since this seems to be a map issue I figured I would post it here.

Anyway so, just as the title says; Several of the NT and CS:S maps refuse to work in gmod. Some do work but after like 5 to 10 seconds, they crash automatically.

So is anyone else having this problem? Has there been a fix? Is there a way to prevent this? Because it’s bugging the hell out of me.

If there was a way to open the console moments before the crash, I could probably find out what’s causing it exactly but I have no idea how to make an automatic condump.

Can you say one in particular so I could test this?

nt_rise_ctg and nt_shrine_ctg are two. And for CS:S, de_nuke.

I asked a friend if rise worked for him, and it did.

They load fine for me. Do you have any crash dumps in steamapps/common/garrysmod?

If you mean MDMP files, I got a shitton of them.

Take the newest one, upload it to this site: http://dumps.metastruct.uk.to and post the link.

Here you go.

Try removing all your addons except the neotokyo content

That didn’t work. Still crashed.

Send the crash log this time

There aren’t any new crash dumps.

The most recent crash mdmp file hasn’t changed either, it’s the same one I posted earlier.

They’re in SteamApps\common\GarrysMod, right? Or am I looking in the wrong folder?

That’s correct. Delete all of your current .mdmp files and crash again to generate a new one.

Strange, it’s not making anymore new ones.

So I opened up the console at the very last moment and I managed to copy this down.

Nevermind about what I said it not making any more dumps because it made another one.

Can you try taking out all of your addons except Neotokyo?

That’s what I did last time, but I’ll do it again to be sure.

Can you leave them out until you can generate an .mdmp file without them in?

Here you go again.

This is just a stab in the dark, have you tryied r_hunkallocatelightmaps 0?

Tried it; didn’t work.

Hmm. Maybe it’s a driver issue. Have you tried updating to latest drivers, or did you recently update and now it’s not working?
