Spacemarines enduring a cold night on an arctic planet

24 layers later, here we are:

Awesome, really nice shadows.

Awesome. Just plain awesome. I love every single part of it.

Mmmmm, layers…

Theyre tasty arent they?

AW SHIT! I’m gonna need a new pair of pants, thats just plain Sexy! Gre- I mean FABULOUS Job you did thar!
Arty’d Becasue it’s B-E-A-UTIFUL

Good lord, I jizzed in my pants.

Pretty nice. I like the snow and the shadows. The picture seems a bit dark though, and the fire could use a lot of work (looks like you just feather selected a piece of a bigger fire picture and pasted it in) The smoke is also too thick and black (and is going against the wind)

basically what Vman said lol.

fire needs wurk

i got bananas btw

I feel sorry for the guy on the right. Must be freezing his ass off :frowning:

:open_mouth: Awsome, great fire, lighting and snow.

The fire is pretty horrible actually. You can do much better Chesty. Rest is good.

Lovin’ those models.

The fire was actually made from scratch.

Oh shit. Completely forgot about the wind. As for the thickness/colour, it depends on what’s inside burning.

I wouldn’t say it’s horrible at all. It’s hardly the best aspect of the picture, and it’s not great, but it’s better than everyone else’s attempts in the editing thread. I’m not sure how else I can do it. Any tips?

Thanks for the comments so far everyone!

Can someone link me to those models, I believe there Halo right? Thanks!

yet another one who gets misunderstood…
i was expecting this:

I like the shadows and the atmosphere! But there are some parts that are tad dark.

Everything else is awesome! Im glad you didnt got lazy and made the ground shadows black XD

Quite nice, could use a little color correction though

I don’t like the recon helm on the body too much and damn! 24 layers?
24 Lays Later…Lol. I like the fire… I don’t see why everyone says it’s horrible.
