In a friend’s server, I cannot open up the spawn menu but other people can, including the friend.
The error I’m getting is:
ERROR: GAMEMODE:‘SpawnMenuOpen’ Failed: sandbox\gamemode\cl_spawnmenu.lua:21: attempt to call method ‘SuppressHint’ (a nil value)
I’ve tried reinstalling gmod and validating files, nothing has worked so far.
My tool gun is also a “scripted weapon.” This is all fine in singleplayer, however.

Same! Just got this error today, please help, I deleted the whole gmod folder ( C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\drake90001\garrysmod) And im reinstalling right now…
Alright, Didnt work, A friend told me to uninstall steam, so im gonna do that, il update you when its done…
