table help

How would I go about printing the “kart5” in this table:
[lua]
local cars = {
[“Jeep”] = {db = “jeep”, Price = 35000},
[“hovercraft”] = {db = “hovercraft”, Price = 35000},
[“kart5”] = {db = “kart”, Price = 25000},
[“motorbike6”] = {db = “motorbike”, Price = 50000}
}
[/lua]

Also, there isn’t one lua help megathread anymore huh? I would prefer not to make a topic for something like this.

with cars[“kart5”] ??

Sorry I guess I should have worded it properly, I just want to print literally “kart5” so I guess that would be the table index, but I read somewhere that you can’t. Also, I don’t really need this anymore but it would be nice to know.

lua you’re still not making sense.
I’m guessing you mean one of these?
[lua]print(“kart5”)

local key = “kart5”
print(key)

print(table.concat({‘k’,‘a’,‘r’,‘t’,‘5’}));

local str = ‘’;
for _, k in pairs({107, 97, 114, 116, 53}) do
str = str … string.char(k)
end
print(str)

local kart5 = cars[‘kart5’]
for key, value in pairs(cars) do
if (value == kart5)
print(key)
break
end
end[/lua]
