Could anyone teach me or link me to a good resource to learn some advance maths so I can get better at using wiremod.

You’d be better off using wiremod tutorials. Source physics are realistic but don’t apply to the real world.

But usually in wiremod tutorials, people don’t explain anything!

A vector thruster uses a three (or four, which e2 now has support for) dimensional value called a vector. These can be used for things like color too, but this is the direction it is going in.
