I cannot say that I will add faceposing, or fingerposing, or make them playermodels, or anything. Not because I don’t want to, but because I don’t know how to. I may headhack some of them, but only because the heads in Oblivion are so hard to put together.

Does anyone have requests? Anything from the stock game, Knights of the Nine, and Shivering Isles can be done, and any mods that are good enough. Further, is there anyone that I can go to for help when Google fails me?

Got something to compile, and it seems to work in hlmv. Now to check it in-game.

It’s an unmodded Akaviri Longsword, the weapon of the Blades.

Scale is way, way off.
Collision model is too detailed. I need to cut it down.

I may keep a copy of this, though. You never know when you’ll need a giant-ass sword.

I’m getting the hang of plain physics props: the Wabbajack Staff is now in-game, after about 15 minutes.

Normal mapped, too.

I think I’ll tackle a group now. While I sleep, vote: amber, daedric, dwarven, ebony, elven, glass, iron, madness, silver or steel weapons. Full pack. Then I’ll upload for testing.

Note: can anyone help me figure out how to simply make a collision model?

Hell, you could probably do all the generic armors/clothes that way, with citizen heads.

Oblivion owns. Maybe you could just let the armor plates be like that and we can attach them to a model
that we like or…?

I believe I mentioned that I haven’t figured out ragdolls yet. Mostly because I have no space on my hard drive for XSI to install.

I went ahead and did the daedric/dremora weapons. Battleaxe, waraxe, claymore, longsword, shortsword, dagger, mace, bow, and quiver. An arrows won’t work, due to “multi-folded edges”. I may have to look at some code to figure it out.

How about the models for all the base player characters? I know it would be a hell of a lot of work, but it would be seriously cool to at least have the models of things like Dark Elves, Argonians, Khajitt, High Elves, ect. If we had the models, someone who knows what they are doing could even rig them for ragdoll or SNPC use.

It would be a royal pain to put all the pieces together though.

Is there a way to rip them off the memory while the game is running? If so, you could just go to the character creation part at the beginning of the game and dump/rip the loaded player model. But then I don’t really know how ripping things for Gmod works(never done it myself). I’m just thinking that if the game puts those models together when it’s run, it would seem easier to steal them from whatever direct x memory they are in.

Sweet swords and stuff by the way. I can’t wait to pin some of those on the front of a custom built car and go mowing over some combine, blades first. :smiley:

Like I said, I haven’t tried getting ragdolls in-game yet. So getting base players or other NPCs is out of the question until I figure it out.

However, I am working on the Imperial Watch armor, broken up into pieces that can be placed on a character.

I also compiled a bunch of “special” weapons, like the Sword of Dusk and Dawn, Sheogorath’s Staff, the Mace of Molagbal, and the Skull of Corruption. See list on top for details.

Version 0.0.2 should come out later tonight.

These should help RP players. I think I’ll port the simple (copper, silver, gold) ones, or maybe some rings. There are very few GMod models for that.

I LOVE THAT WHITE IMPERIAL ARMOR. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Dragon armor would be cool.

GLASS IS HAVE TO… I use Heavy armors because my character is ment to wear Heavy armors, but Glass armor is just too cool.

Got the Dragon armor done. Gloves for some reason refused to export to SMD, but they aren’t critical. Just use the IW gloves if you need to.

Porting glass armor now. I have a transparent-glass mod installed, so I may have two versions. Make that four, from the male/female variants.

I’ll see what I can do about the rats.

Gah, the glass armor took forever. So many different pieces and textures. It added 28 models alone.

Dragon Legion armor: done.
Glass armor: done.
Potion bottles: fixing some bugs.
Rat: trying to put pieces together.

Sent a PM (on the tes-nexus forums) to the creator of the transparent glass armor mod. I’ll release what I have as soon as I get a response.
