Texture problems (checkboard)

What did I do wrong? This isn’t a broken cubemap because otherwise it’d be reflecting all purply.
The vmt looks fine though as far as the $bumpmap and $basetexture is concerned.
I do have a $normalmapalphaenvmapmask 1 in there when there’s no alpha channel (because it kept breaking for me) but there’s one or two other textures that have that along with no alpha channel and aren’t do this.

Can you post a download to both vmt and vtf?

Sweet cookie, how did you do that!?
Please post a download link of your vtf & vmt.
You can also find & add me on steam if you need help, nick is 20-14.

The .vtf and .vmt in question
http://filesmelt.com/dl/SConc2_BLUE.vmt
http://filesmelt.com/dl/SConc2.vtf

“LightmappedGeneric”
{
“$basetexture” “SmoothPack/conc/SConc2/SConc2” << This could be your problem, remove one of the SConc2. i. e "SmoothPack/conc/SConc2"
“$surfaceprop” “concrete”
“$envmap” “env_cubemap”
“$normalmapalphaenvmapmask” “1”
“$envmaptint” “[0.3 0.3 0.3]”
“$color” “{27 27 221}”
}

Nope, it’s actually in that folder. But it also shouldn’t show up if that was the case
(I have a perl program that goes through and edits all my VMTs for me so I have a pretty interesting file structure for my textures)

You don’t have $normalmap or $bumpmap defined inside of the .vmf
So when you are using $normalmapaphaenvmapmask it is looking for that alpha of the bumpmap, but since there isn’t one, it creates an error texture.

Okay so here are the problems I fixed :
I removed alpha channel from your diffuse texture.
I added alpha channel to your newly created (by me) normalmap
I fixed vmf.
Also this weird vtf format, agbr or abrg or argb or abgrbggbgg… whatever, changed to normal one.
