Textures with alpha not displaying correctly

Hello all

I’m creating some basic textures to use as decals in Hammer, but the transparency/alpha is not displaying correctly. Click the image link below to see whats wrong and the settings I’m using to save the VTF in photoshop

I’m sure the issue is in my .vmt file but a search didn’t turn up much, I’m not too sure what to look for

for something that simple you can use $alphatest 1 instead of translucent

Your texture needs a alpha channel for transparency.

Also “$translucent” should be 1?
