Goldsource?

Counter Strike 1.6

I normally just go; save as > de_fillimi_copy > close the file > open de_fillimi_copy > resave as de_fillimi > delete the de_fillimi_copy one you made.

Probably not the correct workaround but it always worked for me.

Looks to me that your missing your lights.rad file. Are you using any light emitting textures? You could either try remove the light emitting textures or extract the lights.rad file using GCFScape. I can’t remember which cache file it’s in though.

Erm…why are you bumping an ancient thread for your own problem?

That happens when bsp.exe can’t create bsp -file due fatal mistakes and errors in map.

Make sure you didn’t tie a displacement to func_detail.

That would always throw an error, something like “func_detail tied to displacement”. Can’t rememeber the exact wording, but the error would be on the log.

Just wanted to chip in what I just learned about this issue. Try selecting the entire map and clicking “Center Origins” under the Tools menu. This worked for me

I know it’s late, but it’s for people who are still pitted against this issue.

You should probably remove the space from the VMF’s file name. Also, please use the questions megathread next time instead of bumping an old thread.
