The Thousand Mile Stare

These are some mock up dramatic in-game lighting tests.I used 2-3 lamps in these pictures. It turned out pretty good, well in my opinion. I tweaked the curves just a little bit. Added some noise 1% to be precise. Tell me if it’s to much. And hand done shading! Please Look at the originals for the shading difference! Literally my first time shading a picture seriously. Not so much light so not so much shade. Just look. I need to improve thanks for reading and enjoy the pictures. Sorry no bonus…

**I APOLOGIZE FOR IMAGESHACK BLOWING UP MY PICTURES, I RESIZED THEM IN PHOTOSHOP AND IMAGESHACK BLEW THEM UP. I USE IMAGESHACK BECAUSE FILESMELT OR ANY OTHER PHOTO HOSTING SITE WILL HAVE CRASHES EVER 2 HOURS. **

He is not holding a gun, his arm would clip in his jacket and it looks dumb and could NOT fix it. So I put his arms by his sides. It doesn’t look horrible. But odd maybe.

Enjoy the below!

I honestly think I overdid the shading, but looks appealing to me.

Uhhh… well initially the thousand mile stare was for soldiers who’s minds were contorted because of war, you could only see it through their eyes, a dullness look in them.

This however is a gas-masked man just aimlessly pondering, nothing. You can’t see anything.

The shadows are good, but concept isn’t portrayed well.

I thought it was yard.

It’s either.
