Too many lighting styles on a face

I am posting this in a separate thread as it’s the first time I am getting such an error and I doubt that fixing it will end up being in only 1 post.

So recently I’ve editted a map for my friend, as he requested.
Sadly, when I started compiling, it was going quite fast until vrad reached 9…, then it just froze and didn’t move for 48 hours (probalby wouldn’t move anyways, so I turned it off)
There were no problems with compiling it before the edition, so I doubt that it’s due to optimalisation.

What bothers me is that I get a huge spam (Around 400 lines) of this:

And I believe that the vrad freeze might be caused by it.
Has anyone else had this problem ? Did you fix it ?

You have too many named/toggleable light affecting one face.

In some cases that error can be ingored, but it causes weird lighting in the areas where the error happens.

In other words, don’t ever name your lights unless you’re sure you understand the consequences.

You want to maybe have only one different style of lighting, two at most. Having many different lights going on and off and different times will cause the compile process to run another iteration of lighting per style. Just having two lights with two different toggling switches will cause the compiling process to re-run the lighting process 6 times. Which is a huge chuck of information that also cause FPS drops as well as overflowing the engine.
