Tortoisesvn restoring unwanted folder

I’m trying to remove a folder from my gmod addons. However, it is always restored whenever I update my addons folder. I’ve tried deleting the .svn folders manually, exporting the file to itself to delete the .svn folders, and right click->tortoiseSVN->delete. After I do any of these, I try to commit the changes and get this:

Error: Commit failed (details follow):
Error: Server sent unexpected return value (405 Method Not Allowed) in response to
Error: MKACTIVITY request for '/svn/!svn/act/c6504ff8-2811-a241-893c-87c08f7131cf'

Does anyone have any idea how to remove the files?

Edit: I figured it out. I just had to delete the .svn folder in the addons folder.

It says: Method not allowed
You do something wrong.

Because you’ve installed it directly via SVN to your addons folder, it will always restore the SVN files because the root svn files are contained in your addons folder and thus, it contains data for them.

Don’t SVN things directly into your addons folder.
