I’ve posted some pictures in the WIP thread, but this project has been gaining some momentum these past few weeks. I plan on expanding his map on to another, to make a “short mod”.
This is my first map that will: involve puzzles, be focused on an outdoors environment, and have something to do with trains. First, you start out on a train, somewhere deep in an Eastern European forest. The train is derailed by boulders left on the tracks as an attempt to block of the abandoned depot and XCCR. You find a generator building that powers the depot and surrounding areas, but it hasn’t been touched in 40+ years. It is now your duty to find the tools to start this up, and work your way up to a workshop via an elevator and catwalks to find a crowbar. This crowbar is used to break the hatch on an exhaust pipe that leads to an underground complex (I still have to think this part out). But for now, some pictures!

- 2/12/11 -Not much to report for this week, other than I finished the workshop and fixed a lot of small problems. Now, the final step, scripting, will take only a few hours. Completion for this map is about 93%.
