[TUT]How to Make Water in Source SDK

STEP 1:
Select the “NoDraw” texture.

STEP 2:
Make the block however big or small you want it to be.

STEP 3:
Go to the “Toggle Texture Application” tool.

STEP 4:
Click on browse, and type in “water” for the search.

STEP 5
Select the water texure you want.

Low-Quality water textures will look like:

High-Quality textures look like:

STEP 8:
Right-Click on the NoDraw block.

You now just created water!

why is it when i make water it doesnt show up in my map when i compile ?

You’re Firegod, not Watergod.

Your map has most likely got a leak, so all the water runs while it’s compiling.
