Unknown LUA conflict causing model compiles to fail.

Before anyone says this is the wrong section, I’m fairly certain that this is the right one since the error keeps pointing to something involved with the LUA files. Ever since the GMod 13 update, I have been trying to continue making props for the game. However, every time I compile any models, I always get this message (seen in the upper left corner) when I open my spawn menu to find the prop that I had created:


Upon looking in the console to see what it says, I end up seeing an error message related to the LUA files. This is what was shown in the console upon inspection (near the bottom of the console window):

Since I wasn’t having this issue before the game updated to GMod 13, I am unsure of what exactly caused this issue to happen. I’ve never actually messed around with LUA before, so I really don’t know what to do in order to fix this.

Looks like the spawn menu doesn’t want to label your props. Could you maybe get me that lua file?

That’s one of the other issues - I honestly don’t know where to find the LUA file. I’ve never actually had to mess around with the LUA before. I’ll see if I can find it in GCFScape though.

Found in in GCFScape with the search function. I couldn’t find the folder it was sitting in unfortunately, so idk what directory it’s supposed to be in. Here’s the LUA file directly from the .GCF. I’m not 100% sure if it’s the right one, so please forgive me if it’s the wrong one. Like I stated before, I’ve never actually had to deal with the LUA files for GMod.

Sorry for the double-post, but does anyone know why it’s doing this? I already tried placing the LUA file in the proper directory (went through GCFScape again to find its directory), but the issue is still continuing.
