Use Gmod Addons in Hammer

I am looking to make a few maps. I’ve gotten the basics down pretty easily,but i have no idea how to make it so that different mods/addons for Gmod will appear in the objects for Hammer.
I dont even know if this is possible, but if anyone knows, it will be people here :smiley:

You would need to have an .fgd written for each gamemode to make the correct entities appear in the hammer listings. You have a few options. 1. Get the creator of the gamemode to tell you the entiti names and I/O and write an .fgd yourself, or just create a func_detail or info_player_start and type the names and values in manually.

I’m just looking into making a few stargate maps, and i cant really have a good stargate map…without the stargate mods :stuck_out_tongue:
I’ve got a lot of map basics laid out, but i am just missing the mods

AFAIK stargates are contained within a separate ini file outside of the actual map. Last time I checked was many a decade ago however.

yeah, i think its a stargate spawner dll or something like that… but finding info on that is far and inbetween
