Usermessages

So when I send a string through usermessages how do I set a variable to read this string? For ex:

[lua]
–Server
for k,v in pairs( player.GetAll() ) do
if v:Alive() then
umsg.Start( “TestUmsg” )
umsg.String( v )
umsg.End()
end
end

–Client
function TestUmsg()
chat.AddText( “Testing herp.” )
end
usermessage.Hook( “TestUmsg”, TestUmsg )
[/lua]

P.S. This was just an example for the hell of it. I would normally do the checking on client side but it’s not that simple as if he’s alive or not.
