Using the Ent.GetPos Function to set up zones?

How would I take the Entity:GetPos() function to send a message from the client via a console command to another function that would then use that point to set up a zone of which would heal all players that stand near it?

In other words, how could I take a command in the console like: “sethealpos” and have it send that to a function of which would set that point using the getpos function, record it for further useage, and heal players near it?

I know this is a lot to ask for, but nothing on the Wiki even remotely says anything like this. I’m really stuck at this portion of my project.

Wouldn’t it be better to use something like **[Ents.FindInSphere](** with a scripted entity? And then just place that entity at the places where you want to heal people?

Yes, that’d be much, much easier to use, I didn’t even know that existed, the wiki is a magical place. Yet, my question still remains.

PS: How is this the wrong section?
