Hello, being long time I didn’t post anything there.

To remove the helmet from prop armor, npc or ragdoll:

  1. put your cursor on the model
  2. open up the console
  3. type in: ent_fire !picker setbodygroup 1

To add it:

  1. put your cursor on the model
  2. open up the console
  3. type in: ent_fire !picker setbodygroup 0

or use the bodygroup switcher.

-Added vortigaunt player model
-Added helmet bodygroup on ragdoll, prop and npc
-Added prop helmet
-Added 2 player model version, 1 with helmet and 1 without
-Fixed some rigging problem on player model
-Fixed neck phymodel on ragdoll version

-Fixed smoothing-group on the prop model of the suit
-Added a player model version!
-Added finger posable ragdoll!
-Added spawnlist for the prop and the ragdoll

To make it works as a player model I’d to rework on nearly all the model because vortigaunt do not have the same shape as humans, I prefered to sacrifice textures (will look a bit weird sometimes) than having a player model with shitty animation.

yeah I even drew it before modeling and all. I was really exited about seeing it on a vortigaunt in game^^.

Seriously, it looks like it’d fit well with some future Vort, wearing the suit as if he were the “reincarnation” of Gordon Freeman, like he were some kinda Freemanine (props if you get it).

That’s actually really cool, although the textures on the HEV Suit could be improved a bit.

I did try to make it fingerposable when I was fixing it, but for some reason it wouldn’t work want me to try again?

Personally i think the texture looks pretty good in the pic there, will have to take a closer look ^^
