VTFs wigging out when looking around?

Why does these VTFs do this?

I have this vtf set (HUDPaint) with:

surface.SetMaterial( icon[stat] )
surface.DrawTexturedRect( x + x1 + 2, y + y1 * i, w, h )

VMT set to:

	"$basetexture" "serfwepstats/Damage"
	"$translucent" "1"

Use the UnlitGeneric shader instead of LightmappedGeneric
