Water reflection problems

I made a tf2 map that has water. I have cubemaps, but for some reason the reflection on the water is the missing-texture texture. I have no idea how to fix this. What do I do?

The water is a water_analog (whatever it’s called) brush. The center of which is underground, but portions of it are visible above ground.

Water shouldn’t be a func_water_analog unless its moving water. If it isn’t going to move, then press the ToWorld button under the visgroup section on the right.

I thought that had something to do with it. Alright, let me see if it will fix it.

Ok, the water is now clear, which is ok BUT the reflection is still the missing-texture texture.

Did you build cubemaps?

You may have cubemaps but did you BUILD THEM in the console?

Oh btw sticky bombs and grenades float in the water…why?

Maybe a weird question, but issnt there a texture missing near a cubemap?

Click the face edit sheet, and click the top water face, then type the texture here.

What the… I just added glass and that’s missing a reflection, too…

Did you turn off specular before you built cubemaps? Otherwise you built the missing reflection into them. >.>
