Weapon View Models.. Hiding the Unused Arm

After having some success with rigging player models to the ValveBiped skeleton, I thought I’d try out weapon c models.
I understand the whole process practically, but one issue I’m having is keeping the other arm from coming into the view with single handed weapons.
Would moving it backwards suffice, how should I go about dealing with this?

Most models just move it off where you can’t see it in the camera (rotating it down)
