What's the best way to make an Entity do the same animations as the NPC/Player it's parented to?

Basically just an Entity that performs the same sequence/actions/ecc the NPC does. I tried creating a base_aibased entity and setting its sequence and respective info the same as its parent but it didn’t work out the way I wanted it to.

Well either that or making each of the entity’s bones follow the respective bone on the NPC. I just have no idea how to do that.
