What's the best way to make an Entity do the same animations as the NPC/Player it's parented to?

Basically just an Entity that performs the same sequence/actions/ecc the NPC does. I tried creating a base_aibased entity and setting its sequence and respective info the same as its parent but it didn’t work out the way I wanted it to.

What’s the best way to make an Entity do the same animations as the NPC/Player it’s parented to?
I feel retarded.(it was made on purpose, it follows the NPC correctly but won’t do the right animations)

Well either that or making each of the entity’s bones follow the respective bone on the NPC. I just have no idea how to do that.

Should I apply that to each of the Entity’s bones?

The way I did it with my leg system ( using clientsidemodel without rendering the scene twice ) is by drawing the clientside model, copying the pose parameters, etc…

Look at: _ent:GetPoseParameter, _ent:SetPoseParameter, etc…
