mine sucks and i can’t find any decent tutorials
It’s Vman’s latest technique that he so nicely helped me out with. Basically it uses splatter brushes and lots and lots of duplicating layers and guassian blur to get the glow, plus a little bit of motion blur where it’s needed.

Nice muzzleflashes there Chesty! Today I was practicing my muzzleflashes on GIMP and was wondering how people around here made them so good, that little tip might be really helpful
