WIRED HYDRAULICS and Variable Length

Okay here’s an example of what i want to do:

Basically increase the length of a hydraulic when i hold down a wire button and decrease it with another button… Its for my Crane system for SB3. I have an Up Button and a Down button and want my hydraulic length to increase slowly and decrease slowly when i press and hold them. i really want to do it with E2 if possible.

I know how to make like an elevator by using predetermined hydraulic lengths like floor 1 is 100 floor 2 is 350 blah blah, i know all that.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP I KNOW ITS SIMPLE I JUST CAN’T FIGURE IT OUT

I swear it requires some sort of Time Gate.

Or you could just use a winch…

You could wire the hydraulic controller to an increment/decrement gate with some other jazzy wiring, meaning when you hold button, the value will change and the hydraulic increases or decreases.

This MIGHT not work, because increment/decrement gates might only work by repeated single inputs, instead of 1 long one (e.g you might have to press the button continuously instead of holding it down, which would probably suck)

button 1 = value of +1
button 2 = value of -1
(Change the button values to a higher number for it to go faster)

arithmetic - add gate = wire a and b to button 1 and 2

time - accumulator = wire a to add gate.
Wire the hold and reset of the accumulator as you wish.

It’s probably just easier to use the E2 provided above though.
