Wireframe or Borders in HL2:DM Map


This is a more abstract map I’m working on for HL2:DM, and I was wondering if there was a way to render culled wireframes on the flat textures that make up the level so as to help with depth and edge detection. Is there a material parameter or proxie that would do so? Is there a way to get some coding or scripting to enable it? Enabling any form of wireframe via servercommand highlights the ammo and players, which is bad for the game. Thanks for any help.

You could use shadertest/wireframe material for wireframes.
