Wiremod constant value problems.

I just started trying out wiremod, but my constant value switches aren’t working. I’m trying to create a trip wire activated light,

I made a ranger (set to 500 max)
Gate comparison (less than)
Constant Value (Output 1: 100)
Indicator.

I wired the ranger to the less than gate, the wired the less than gate’s “b” to the constant value, then I wired the indicator to the less than gate.

As soon as I attach the B from the less than gate to the constant value, the beam from the ranger stops shooting sraight and ends up shooting off at an angle. Then the light also lights up for no reason, even If i’m not in the ranger’s path.

Why is this?

OK… this is how it should be.

> MEANS connect to

GATE(A)>RANGER
GATE(B)>CONST VALUE
INDICATOR>GATE

This will do the following.
IF RANGER > CONST VAL activate INDICATOR
ELSE deactivate INDICATOR

Hope I helped.

If the issue continues, I suggest a reinstall of the wiremod addon, and use the SVN version.

when I attempt to wire gate A to the ranger, it says that that connection is invalid, because the inupt is “normal” and the output is “ranger.”
