• Confinement: an animated fan-made SCP series

I just found this via /co/, so far there's only 2 episodes (2nd one was just released today), but it looks amazing/spot on. WARNING: NSFW (animated gore in the 1st episode)
Wow, this is surprisingly good and a humorous take on SCP.
That was unexpectedly good. This is something I could totally see being on Adult Swim or whatever.
I find the choppy animation really adds to the value of this in some weird, endearing way.
Ah man, I love Lord Bung. He's a great animator and I'm glad his videos are making it to Facepunch now.
I miss forest bro already :disappoint:
That was way better than I expected it to be.
That was really dang gud. I really love how the art style/animation is. I finished both episodes and I already want more of this series.
That was unexpectedly good. This is something I could totally see being on Adult Swim or something.
It really does remind me of some Adult Swim shows, like a more mellow Superjail.
the slug joke made me do a spit take really good, i hope they make more
Geezus I would support this with money.
These were really well made. Glad to see someone make something with SCP that isn't all doom and gloom.
I would love a AAA like quality SCP game
The forest guardian reminds me of the Dad from Dad N Me
So that's why it seemed so familiar.
I came into the thread expecting some attempt at spooky adaptations, was pleasantly surprised at the direction. I actually want more, so I can't wait to see the next episode.
SCP has so much cool and zany shit in it's universe that always gets passed over in fan stuff because it's not "spooky" enough. Nobody ever talks about the sentient, revolutionary mucous that tries to go to war with you, but they should.

I really like this! The only constructive criticism I would have is that some moments could be a little punchier with the editing. Some scenes feel like they linger on, even too much for the style they're going for, I think.

This was pretty nice - I got a strong Ugly Americans vibe from this. I miss that show; it was pretty awesome and I was sad when they axed it.

We need more professionally done works styled after and inspired by SCP. Stuff that goes beyond your typical body horror, lovecraftian, or shadow thriller. We need more stuff that has a unique attitude and take on horror and SCP has some of the cruelest ideas to exist. that and the less directly menacing stuff. There's tons of great ideas on it.

Between the containment building aspect and custodial aspect, it'd be hella fun.
This cartoon reminds me of Ugly Americans. I dig it.
I hope an episode features the SCP that's a sentient tomato that throws itself at anyone who makes a bad joke.
Okay, when's the next episode I want at least two series of this. (did anyone else get itchy when he did?)
I hope an episode features the SCP that's a sentient tomato that throws itself at anyone who makes a bad joke.
Bonus points if it hurls itself so fast at someone who makes a terrible dad joke that it kills them. The SCP wiki has so many SCPs that are absolutely perfect comedic fodder. It's really refreshing to see a take on SCP that doesn't focus on its horror elements.
It reminds me of Lucas Bro's moving Co. Animation wise.
Hey I know the song used in the second episode! Apparently there was a rumor of this commercial being haunted, and that everyone who starred it died in some kind of accident, often said that the commercial will change after 12 AM.

I think the best way to do it would actually be something along the veins of Zoo Tycoon, Dungeon Keeper, and Dwarf Fortress. Basically you'd be tasked with building containment rooms for SCPs, and do experiments on them to research better tech for containment. More generic SCPs would allow you research into various categories like spacetime, advance materials, or psionics, with some of the more notable ones like 914 giving unique benefits. Ad the same time, you'd also have to keep your researchers, staff, and class D's safe and sane, and they would all have unique personalities that would make them weak or strong in certain situations.
