I remember finding this forum by looking for models for gmod. I bumped a whole bunch of dead threads, and honestly you guys weren't hateful at all, just told me to shut the fuck up....and was given the advice to just lurk and see how everyone acts.
You all were my safe space when I lived at my parents and had to deal with constant fighting of my parents.
I don't always share the same views as some of you guys, but I never felt any of you tried to force me to change, and rather showed me different views and left them for me to either take em or leave em.
Honestly because of you all I changed my views on gays, weed and religion. I say this with 100% confidence that FP has some of the best people I have every met. Nirrti
and Kirby (the lad who did the post cards, whose post cards I still hold somewhere at my ma's house and cherish them) are two really good friends of mine.
If Gary should take anything from these forums is he made a place for great minds to come together and discuss different things and all around have a great time.
Also being here when Rocket man was made was a big milestone for me.
I remember years back when I was a kid I came across Facepunch for maps, then models, and then I came across some gmod porn poses megathread, then I left, came back and asked for models ports, fucked off, then came back with Payday 2 and MGS Threads, and made lots of good friends
Damn... I kinda fell off FP ever since the Newpunch jump but I remember going on these forums everyday since 2008-2015ish. I discovered so many great friends that I still talk to today outside of FP. It's sad it's gonna go away. I see so many familiar usernames like RIP BILLYMAYS and so many people that, while I don't really post or talk, I enjoyed seeing their usernames and their thoughts. It's like I kind of knew y'all in a way.
Thanks for everything, Facepunch community! I do think I'm a better person for it.

No the bald fuck in charge wasn't getting enough e-handjobs even though this community made him so rich he could hire a whore to gobble his knob every 6 hours every day until his last day.
Everytime I log into my computer I type in "face" into the address bar and hit enter to go to these forums. Every single time without fail.
It's dumb to think about but it's gunna be pretty melancholy when once day I do that and get a 404 or something in return...
