I was making fun of the people who feel the need to bring up how much they hate or like the Epic Game Store in every PC gaming thread whatsoever, regardless of the current topic of discussion, thus quickly delairing the whole thread into a Pro vs. Con EGS highly-aggressive civil war (see the previous pages for a demostration).
Believe me, offending who thinks the EGS isn't as good as a PC gaming client as it's advertised to be and that its developers aren't that much shy about certain predatory market tactic wasn't my intention.
After all, at this particular moment in time, this whole discussion, here as much as elsewhere, simply tires me far more than it interests me
A guy made a question of why people hate the Epic Games store, we give him our arguments like he asked (Repeatedly). I get it, it is tiring of reading the same shit over and over, that's why we link him past threads so we don't derail this one, but he insisted and we turned this thread on "Epic Games Store discussion v.31".
But on the other side, the moment that we stop caring about the shit Epic is pushing, it is the moment that they win. Remember, everyone talked shit about DLCs and Microtransactions and now are so normalized that we are too late to say something.
And making fun of people derailing the thread with a dumb sarcastic comment doesn't help either.
Yeah, but the OP posted a video about a specific, recently released videogame. You guys derailed the very topic of this thread with the first three messages alone, and anyone else could only watch the shitshow unfold.
Also, but this is a personal opinion, if the person you are trying to discuss something with starts to drag the whole thing downhill and/or doesn't seems to grasp your points (in good or bad faith), you simply drop the discussion, thus preventing from becoming, again, a shitshow.
I wouldn't be so fatalistic, but again, I said I won't enter into this argument.

You're paying money for a console. You're entitled to a good service.
You're not paying for a launcher, so they'll just shit on you as much as they want, because they don't need to make you purchase any system. You actually got features with a console, not a barebones launcher.

the same game gets boring after a whole decade lol, I played it both unmodded and unmodded to hell. But after a few hundred matches even resident playermodels, battlefield guns, and mirror's edge maps can't hide the fact that you're still playing L4D2
