[Valve News Network] Left 4 Dead 3 - Screenshots Leaked

Don't know if mentioned yet, or even mentioned in the video (not going to give VNN a view,) but these screenshots are not in-game or even in-engine screenshots. They were taken in Source 2's Hammer.
I think he mentioned that they are taken in S2 Hammer based on the "AllLighting" button top right
I'm reminded of that comment in the fast inverse square root function from Quake 3.
Could it be taking place in Mexico?
If so, I want zombie mariachi bands that run at you with maracas rattling sounds.
Like the clowns that shoes honked.
Tyler said that in the video.
Why does it matter if they are truly in engine or not?
for anyone who's uninitiated:

lmao you FOOLs, it's unreal engine.. prankd ya
Okay I love a tin-foil hat valve conspiracy as much as the next girl, but I think this is just grasping at straws. Sure some L4D3 content was made at some point but considering what we know about how valve operates that doesn't really mean a whole lot. Someone could have spent a week on this project five years ago and this is file could still exist, it doesn't mean a game is actively being worked on.
No one said the game was being worked on. VNN said it was cancelled in 2017.
And a make like that doesn't spring up in a week.
The whole point of the video is just chronicling the death of L4D3 basically.
Why are you like this
well, considering the garbage obsolete deprecated 15 year old hammer we got, It's a significant breakthrough.
I get that but thats not really relevant to what Im asking? The way @Theuaredead phrased his statement made it sound like this leak doesnt matter because it wasnt in engine. Which is a ridiculous assessment to make
The way I phased it is that everyone was treating it like its an accurate depiction of Source 2, when it was nothing more than what Hammer could render.
It is an example of what the engine is capable of, given the maps were likely able to run in the engine. Im sorry this leak isn't good enough for you.
Lmao these screenshots are from 2013 and he thinks it was cancelled in 2017?
There is zero way those are two connected projects, a project doesn't spend half a decade in development hell before being cancelled.
This is probably a test level or tech demo for Source 2
