I played P5 on PS3. I'm really disappointed that it's PS4 exclusive. Come on, I own both a PS3 and a Switch, please bring it to at least one of the two.
You realize that you're fortunate the game even came to the PS3 to begin with, right?
I think people are still in the right for complaining that this isn't coming to the PS3.
This feels comparable to Breath of the Wild's DLC, but with BotW they released all the DLC on WiiU still.
I'm really sad it's not on PC but hooboy im ready to do another 120+ hours.
Ehhh, I dunno, man. P5 came out five years after the PS4 launched. The only PS3 games to come out AFTER P5 have been sports games, and a single Disney's Cars game.
P5 was announced in 2013 so it makes sense to think that they were developing the game on PS3 hardware for a time, but I think it's a bit silly to assume that they'd continue working with that hardware in mind on their "deluxe" edition
I was hoping they'd make Hifumi be the new Phantom Thief since that's what they were planning to do before it got cut out. It would've be nice too for someone to plan the tactics and have another Phantom Thief be someone from Kosei aside from Yusuke. I guess that'll never be...
It took me two years to beat Persona 5, this is probably gonna be the only single player game I'll ever be playing for half a fucking decade.
if someone didnt play P5 first should they just go straight to this one or play the original first
Wait for this one to release. If you play the original, you're probably gonna be burned out on persona for a couple years just because of the length.
That comparison doesn't work. BotW's DLC was mostly add-ons to the base game.
P5R seems to actually change a lot of the base game with remixed Palaces and new scenarios. It isn't just the original game, but with a few things added on top of it.
not sure what you mean. the game was originally in development for the ps3 and was announced for the ps3. they added onto development with the ps4 once the ps4 came out.
Not to mention the whole utilization of the power of the PS4 Pro.
Really, if you're gonna be upset that you can't get P5R on your PS3 a whole five years after the PS4 launched, you really have nobody to blame but yourself at this point. The PS3 is well and truly dead at this point.
What
Honestly dude I'm not sure. P5R looks like it REALLY shakes up the story of the original game so you could probably play both to see what's different, like it looks like it changes the story more then P4G
Yeah in development for ps3 and announced for ps3 but then after several years they realized ps3 isn't gonna be the console they should be aiming for.
With all the speculation that people have been doing so far regarding P5R. I've got a suspicion that the changes they're making could be a lot more elaborate than what we've seen in the past.
I'm probably wrong, but it would be pretty impressive to see them make some major changes and really shake things up. Adding in a new party member, particularly one who seems to show up pretty soon into the narrative, is already a big change.
one of the characters that died in is bafk
I've seen speculation in regards to two characters that would fit that description. Neither is really confirmed, but the shots we were shown were picked for a reason. They're definitely trying to fuel speculation.
Again, I'm doubtful that they would be so bold to enact major changes, but it would certainly be interesting.
